Hi Brenda! The membership is $160 if purchased before January 1st and $175 after January 1st. You can download the membership form off of the website, and then either mail a check with it, or include your credit card information. Or you can call us in the office Monday-Friday and give us your credit card information. The 2018 rule book is also available on the website. Entries are approximately 10 day prior to the first day of the rodeo. Please do not hesitate to call me in the office at 928-684-9566 with any questions!

Doug you are correct its the only reason we have the new members we have. The average person is not able to travel the country and by taking your champion from them you are not truly crowning the best in the event! Only the one that can travel more not compete better!

The proposal of bringing back section 8 would be a step backward. Let the world champion be the best roper in the World based on their performance in their designated region combined with their performance at the National Finals. A world champion based on someone who drove more miles and went to more rodeos is not the way to go.

The trailer race concept is not what an association can be built on. We have a fairly small association right now and to try and make it a national race for the titles will discourage most of our competitors. Award those who want to travel hard and come into the finals with two or three times the points of their nearest rival with an award. But the world champions should come out of a field of three or four per region who have done well in their region and would like a shot at a world title.

We need contestants. If the finals do not fill an event let someone enter that dose not have enough rodeos I for one would like to enter a rodeo that is full instead of half full.
Again if you want your own little association that you can win a title against 5 others and call your self a world champ then keep going like you are going.
If you want a viable strong association that you can be proud of and proud of your wins and titles open this up and be accessible!

If a members enters a rodeo and can not go for what ever reason they should be able to send in their entry fees and office fees and count the rodeo for the 5. What difference dose it make whether they compete if they pay their fees just like a no time. We need to be accommodating not exclusionary!

Hazer must be at least 40 years old AND hold an active membership in the NSPRA.

Why, from the looks of it we could use some more good hazers and horses!
